Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn was born in the US. Her best-known work is her role as Skyler White in The AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in A Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during the Preparatory stage before relocating the family there to Ohio. She attended theatre classes at Northwestern University and spent a time studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for several years, before trying out for film and TV roles. Anna received her breakthrough in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. After a brief appearance as a Guest Star in several TV Shows and movies, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's She was then cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons during the 2000s. She was cast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Also, she starred in the Deadwood movie as well as Sully. Gunn took the stage to appear in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the podcast Numbered Day made up of four plays. The main storyline of Breaking Good is about the relationship of Walter White, his wife Skyler as well as their uneasy relationship. The strained relationship and eventual end of it resemble the final years in Walter White's life.
